Woman shot near Ann Arbor business, male suspect at large, police say.

ANN ARBOR, MI — A 24-year-old woman shot outside an Ann Arbor business Wednesday night is expected to recover, police said.

Officers responded to a shots fired report around 10:45 p.m., June 17 outside a business in the 2900 block of Packard Street in east Ann Arbor, said the Ann Arbor Police Department.

A man, identified as a suspect in the shooting, fled the scene, and is being sought by police, Ann Arbor Police Lt. Bonnie Theil said.

It is unknown what type of firearm was used, police said. No further details were immediately available, and the incident remains under investigation.
